Children and Baby’s
Afterhours Children’s Clinic
The Children’s Afterhours Clinic is a walk-in clinic staffed by pediatricians. We welcome all children up to 17 years of age for non-emergency visits. Children are frequently sent to our facility to be seen in the evenings and on the weekends by our pediatric colleagues, including the Hospital for Sick Children. Our clinic is open every day of the year, including statutory holidays. Please note that stitches, vaccines, and checkups are not offered at the Afterhours Clinic.
Our team of highly experienced pediatricians are dedicated to ensuring that your child receives the best medical care, focussing on family-centered care and evidence-based medicine. Comprehensive medical care for all children from newborn age to 17 years of age is provided by Dr Shirley Sit, Dr Amy Lavorato, Dr Mehnaz Jabeen, and Dr Raphael Buencamino. Some of the common conditions that we see are:
- newborn babies – should be seen within 2 to 3 days after discharge from the hospital
- well check up and vaccines
- feeding issues
- failure to thrive
- abdominal pain
- speech and developmental delays
- school difficulties
Consultations are by referral only.
